"Over the past twenty years, Derek has made numerous renovations to our homes - bathrooms, kitchen, stairwell, a spectacular two story deck with patio and then a major renovation to both units in our duplex. In every case, Derek understood perfectly what we wanted, converted his understanding into design ideas - modifying them depending upon our likes and budget - and made it happen. Derek's craftsmanship is superb - especially his finished wood working. There is always something beautiful integrated in the work. And during each project, Derek became an enjoyable part of our lives. Some of the larger projects took a bit longer than expected to complete - but the waiting was entirely worth it! We have always been more than happy with the result and came back to Derek time and time again.​We regret that we moved out of town before Ries came into the business. We knew Ries as a young boy hanging around and working with his dad. Now he is the owner of the business. Too bad that our house is now too long of a commute for Derek and Ries. Sigh!"
